Connect Drone to the OSH Hub
- Power on the Drone and Controller
- If using Nexus tablet to fly drone, connect the tablet’s Wifi to SoloLink_botts01 and open Solo app.
- Open the Field Node’s wifi settings in the top menu bar and connect wifi to SoloLink_botts01
At this point you should recheck the Field Node’s internet connection by visiting a website that is not in your local network. If you are having trouble loading a page you need to be sure that the SoloLink_botts01 Wifi is not your primary connection and that the wifi is turned off on the phone that is tethered to the OSH Field Node. Once the connection is confirmed continue to the next step.
- Allow drone to acquire a GPS connection
- Go to the OSH admin panel, in the Sensor menu right click on the SoloLink Location sensor and Start Sensor.
- check that data is feeding into the OSH Hub by refreshing the data box at the bottom of the page. If data is coming in then stop the refresh.
- Select SoloLink Video in the Sensor menu and Start Sensor.
